I'd say I definitely met more new people because of Twitter but that doesn't mean more people have come to my blog and I don't think anyone has bought my chapbooks because of Twitter. I've sold more books because of the blog. I think twitter could help you build an audience, especially with the very popular subject matter you are covering. There is an immediacy to Twitter and I get to read a lot of good articles that way. I only use it about once an hour. You also spend a lot of time deleting spam followers. Main reason I went back to Twitter was so that I could chat with more writing people and not have to set up filters and stuff on my Facebook page for family and such who might not be as keen on some of my liberal ideals :) You are giving me a lot to think about…
