Education:
- Current–MFA at Queens University of Charlotte, Graduation Jan 2009
- May 1998–BA in English from UNC-Greensboro, Magna Cum Laude
Work Experience:
- September 2007: Substitute Teacher for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Middle School Language Arts.
- June 1998–July 2007: Auto Claims Representative for State Farm. I investigated, evaluated and negotiated property damage and bodily injury claims in a variety of environments. I was invovled in Arbitration Forums and served as a team leader. I developed significant computer skills.
- Prior 1998: During college I worked in several retail environments including serving as an Assistant Supervisor in both computers and merchandising at Best Buy.

Aspirations:
I hope to work in the field of academics. Eventually I hope to teach Creative Writing, Composition or Literature. In addition to teaching, I would also be available to work in other higher education settings such as: advising, office work etc. If anyone is in need of a reader for a literary magazine, I would be very open to that experience as well.
